Professor and Research Chair in Gambling Studies at Concordia University
Sylvia Kairouz is a Canadian sociologist and full Professor at Concordia University in Montreal, where she holds the Research Chair in Gambling Studies. Her research focuses on gambling behaviours, addiction, and public health, with particular attention to online gambling, sports betting, and vulnerable populations.
